Students enrolled at the University of Toronto Summer DEEP received an exclusive tour of cord blood banking facilities of Insception Lifebank. To provide pre-university students a concise understanding of stem cell cord blood, the team Insception Lifebank showed them how the cord blood bank actually works.
Stem Cells For the week, the group of students studying in the framework of a course entitled, stem cells: the past, present and future. The course is available to inform students about the history of stem cells and the directions in which technology is heading in the future. cord blood banking is a booming technology, and students in the program were trained on its current uses and vast scope for the future.
The instructors of the Summer Academy DEEP were satisfied with the visit, stating that the tour gave students a chance to see, first hand, how the cord blood is collected, processed and stored.
