NFL training camp is usually on the players to improve their skills and prepare for the upcoming season to the autumn. But for Robert Griffin III, quarterback of the Washington Redskins, training camp is all about preparing for football because it makes the dreams of sick children.

The Redskins are well aware that Griffin likes to call his younger fans, especially those with special needs or life-threatening diseases. Griffin was raised to help those in need, however, possible, and uses his football career to help lift the spirits of deserving children.

During two separate practices on the weekend, the QB surprised two young cancer survivors by asking for their autographs on his cleats rather than waiting to be asked for his signature. He also promised to send two of his young fans a pair of autographed cleats in their favorite colors.

The next day, he named Jamia Johnson, who has survived kidney disease through the Make-A-Wish, as its guest of honor. Griffin Jamia asked to sign his practice jersey, and both played later combined.
