Cord blood programs in partnership with renowned hospitals that share the same goal of a healthier future for new -nés. Hospital doctors perform cord blood collection process at the request of parents, and the sample is then delivered to the cord blood facility by a medical courier representing the program.

Insception Lifebank, the largest and most experienced cord blood program in Canada, maintains strong partnerships with the two most credible Canadian hospitals, as well as a non-profit organization in Canada whose mission is to develop a global foundation for regenerative medicine.

Mount Sinai Hospital

Insception Lifebank reached a partnership with Mount Sinai Hospital in downtown Toronto in 2004. The agreement was reached in part to help patients Mount Sinai receive the stem cell collection quality and potential therapy. As part of the agreement of a clinical consultant representing Insception Lifebank maintains an office at the hospital. The consultant answers questions about the cord blood bank and arranges for collections of cord blood samples too.

Scarborough Hospital

A similar arrangement was made at the Scarborough Hospital, based in the most diverse community in the GTA. The cells cord blood stem are especially beneficial for families of various ethnic backgrounds that are significantly underrepresented in the records of stem cells in Canada and around the world. Scarborough estimates more than 5,000 babies are born in the hospital each year, representing about 10 percent of all new babies in the GTA. Accordingly, benefits immensely from a national cord blood program of the hospital.

Centre for Commercialization of Regenerative Medicine

Insception Lifebank also maintains an agreement with the Centre for Commercialization of Regenerative Medicine (CCRM). The non-profit organization aims to harness the power of stem cells, biomaterials and molecules to potentially improve the lives of patients with some of the most devastating diseases in the world. Insception Lifebank supports the mission of CCRM, and offers to help the organization in any way possible.
