Children can easily get caught up video games, text messaging and checking Facebook, so make sure you spend time with family without digital distractions. Apart from quality, family time each week can help your family grow closer together, and work as a resolution to achieve these goals.

Eat healthy

A commitment to eating healthier is a popular resolution for many families, but maintaining this can be difficult. Try to go for fast food less frequently or adding a serving of fruits and vegetables to your daily diet. It might also be a good idea to make the switch to whole wheat grain products such as pasta, bread and rice.

Get Active

You can spend more quality time together making sure everyone in the family works toward the same fitness goals. Get the kids to join a sports league while taking yoga or go to the gym. You can even go on weekly jogs, walks, hikes -. Or even plan a sporting event family once a month
