There Johnathan, a brave boy of six of Milton Keynes in England, will meet a number of celebrities the 2013 WellChild Awards. The boy was chosen from a group of hundreds of young children that the child inspired the year. Johnathan will receive his award on September 11 at the Dorchester Hotel in London.
Johnathan was diagnosed with a rare form of chronic granulomatous disease, to spend long periods of time in and out of hospitals receiving treatment. Doctors try a transplant of cells from cord blood stem as a new form of therapy, which could potentially provide Johnathan with a better quality of life.
But whatever the difficulty of his condition was all Johnathan doctors are amazed at his positive attitude and ability to keep smiling whatever the situation. One of the doctors Johnathan Helen Braggins, a clinical nurse specialist care primarily for children with CGD, was the one who appointed the former six years for the award inspired children. She cites the optimism of Johnathan as an example for everyone.
"Johnathan has an amazing ability to turn a bad situation into a new adventure When caring for other children, I often find myself thinking." What Jonathan did this? "It is a truly remarkable young man."
The WellChild prices are a remarkable event, with many celebrities who support WellChild mission. past participants include rock singer Rod Stewart, comedian Russell Howard, and even a touch of royalty to Prince Harry.
Johnathan share the stage with the participants of this year, and is itself should put on a very entertaining show.
