Any teenager deserves a chance to go to the ball, regardless of the location of the place. For children staying at SickKids in Toronto, they have received their prom night special on Friday July 11

The ball is called After Hours Teenager exclusive event, and was founded in 2009 in the hospital SickKids. The ball is part of a generous donation by the family Storfer, who created the dreams turn into memories endowment fund to the matriarch Ann Storfer memory who died of lymphoma in 2005.

the ball is at the disposal of any current or outgoing patients between the ages of 13 and 18, and has been popular among children for the past six years. Part of the hospital was converted into a dance floor for the children to have fun and party as if they were at a high school dance. SickKids even brought two members of Toronto FC, Mark Bloom and Nick Hagglund to join the party and help give children an unforgettable night.

The After Hours Exclusive event adolescence is one of the many events organized by SickKids to help improve the lives of children staying in the hospital. The ball was to give children a night to cut loose and have fun, while other events to educate children and their parents.

For example, Insception Lifebank fell SickKids hospital July 15 at Terrace Café. In addition to show support for children in the hospital, the visit was part of an awareness campaign in the cord blood Awareness Month this July to help inform more families on the benefits of the blood bank cord and stem cells of cord blood.

With more events to support both SickKids and children staying in the hospital, families in Toronto and across Canada will hopefully be encouraged to do all they can to help improve the lives of sick children.
