Tuesday, November 11 e , we celebrate Remembrance Day 2014 and we honor the men and women Canadian Forces, past and present, who have fought to ensure a bright future for our country.
As we honor the past, we must also commit to our vision of the future. What can we do today to offer our children - the next generation of Canadians? This question is a question we ask collectively as a country, but also in private as parents.
While today we are fortunate to live in a period of stability and peace within Canada, we are still doing regular battle with childhood and genetic diseases threaten our families. However, an alternative that we have now that previous generations did not have is the ability to bank cord blood and tissue of the spinal cord in the hope it might one day protect our children, if any.
